About this issuance
Solar + Storage Albania 01 is a 6 MWp ground-mounted solar park paired with a 3 MW / 6 MWh battery near Fier, where irradiation averages around 1,700 kWh/m² a year. Albania generates almost all of its electricity from hydropower, which makes it vulnerable in dry years and increasingly reliant on imports. Solar diversifies that supply, and the battery makes it dispatchable: energy produced at midday is stored and delivered in the evening, when the grid needs it most and prices on the ALPEX exchange are higher. Each Energy Unit gives economic exposure to around 550 Wp of solar capacity and 1 kWh of storage plus a proportional share of common infrastructure.
