About this issuance
Solar + Storage Croatia 01 is a 5 MWp ground-mounted solar park paired with a 2.5 MW / 5 MWh battery on the Ravni Kotari plateau in Zadar County. Dalmatia receives around 1,650 kWh/m² of solar irradiation a year, and Croatia is working to raise the renewable share of its power mix quickly, supported by EU recovery funding and a liquid day-ahead market on CROPEX that is coupled with neighbouring EU markets. The battery stores low-cost midday output and sells it into the morning and evening peaks, when coastal demand from tourism and cooling is highest. Each Energy Unit gives economic exposure to around 550 Wp of solar capacity and 1 kWh of storage plus a proportional share of common infrastructure.
